My Story
I left school at 16 with no qualifications, no clue, and a chip on my shoulder the size of a filing cabinet.
I worked my way up from the bottom, made every mistake you can make, and eventually found myself running multi-million-pound companies. I’ve seen business at its best and worst, including watching one collapse during the energy crisis.
But here’s the thing: I got back up the very next week.
Now, I help business owners across the UK do the same. To build something solid, profitable, and actually worth the effort.

What I Believe
I believe business isn’t complicated. People just love turning it into a circus.
For me, clarity always beats chaos, action always beats excuses, and focus always beats faffing around. My approach is simple: decide what you want, cut the BS, and do the work that actually moves your business forward. Most problems aren’t mysteries, they’re the result of drifting, dithering, or dodging responsibility. And I know this for sure, any business owner, no matter how stuck they feel, can grow if they’re willing to face the truth, fix what’s broken, and follow through, every single week.
Life Outside Business
When I’m not helping business owners level up, I’m in Southern Scotland, with Mrs Grit (long-suffering, still fabulous) and our five rescue dogs from Turkey who run the place.
